2020/21 TAHOE DONNER DOG PASS APPLICATION AND RELEASE WAIVER OF LIABILITY

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
• Complete and sign this 2020/21 Tahoe Donner Cross Country Dog Pass Application and Release Waiver of Liability.
• Valid Rabies, Parvo and Distemper vaccinations and licensure of pet required.
• Owners must have adequate liability insurance with $300k/occurrence to address claims arising from pet.

PET RULES AT ALDER CREEK ADVENTURE CENTER
• All pets must be on leash near the facility and in parking lots.
• Leashes/tethers cannot exceed 4 feet.
• Pets may not be tethered or left unattended on/near the facility.
• Pets are not allowed inside facility with the exception of exempted service pets.
• Owners must clean up after their pets.
• Pet owners must report any incidents to Tahoe Donner staff immediately.

PET RULES ON DESIGNATED DOG TRAILS
• Owner/handler to dog ratio may not exceed 1:1.
• Handlers and dogs must have a season pass or day ticket to access trails.
• Dogs are only allowed on designated trails and at designated times (see below).
• Dogs must be ON LEASH until inside the corral, or past the ‘dogs off leash here’ signs.
• Pets must be OFF LEASH and under voice control and within sight of handler while on designated trails.
• Dog owners must clean up after pets.
• Dog owners must report any incidents to Tahoe Donner staff immediately.

YOUR PET WILL NOT BE WELCOME ON TAHOE DONNER PROPERTY IF:
• The pet displays or is perceived to display aggressive or dangerous personality.
• The pet bites and/or nips a person or pet, or causes property damage, and/or is directly or indirectly involved in any incident.
• The owner cannot demonstrate voice control when asked by TDXC staff.

We offer 7km of trail for you to enjoy with your dog: Piece of Cake; Cup of Tea; Dogonit; Silverstreak; Aspen; Doggy Dipper (formally Upper Big Dipper and Lower Boot Hill); Downward Dog (formally Rust Never Sleeps); and Dogs in Space. Please note some trails are one way only.

Dog are only allowed on the following days and times:

OPENING DAY THROUGH DEC. 18, AND MARCH 15 THROUGH THE END OF SEASON
• All day, any day during operating hours.

PEAK SEASON: DEC 19 THROUGH MARCH 14
• Monday–Friday (non-holiday*): All day, any day.
• Weekends and holidays*: Before 10AM and after 3PM.

*Restricted midweek holiday days are Dec. 21-25; Dec. 28-Jan. 1; Jan. 18 and Feb. 15
Season pass holders are welcome to ski with their dog on ‘Early Bird’ days (non-snow removal mornings). Check the daily trail grooming report for updates on ski status.
